Pranouvhell in Mentoulles
Every July, the village of Mentoulles – a mountain hamlet of Fenestrelle – hosts the Pranouvhell festival, an experience of music, nature, and self-management that takes place in the picturesque location of Pranouvel, near the cemetery, at about 1,050 meters above sea level.
Past Editions
- 2022: The festival brought Mentoulles to life with two days of evening shows, concerts and free camping, with aperitifs and waffles, workshops, hikes, and games for all ages.
- 2024: The edition expanded beyond rock/folk evening performances (Clair the Villain, Mahout, Mowy and others) to include daytime activities: community soccer tournament, workshops, river swimming, local market, and benefit DJ sets for the Western Alps anti-repression fund
- 2025 (preview): The fourth edition is scheduled for July 18-19 and features punk, hardcore concerts, DJ sets, and sports activities (foosball, bocce, ping-pong), maintaining the DIY and sustainable approach
