COLLE DELLE FINESTRE
At 2,176 meters above sea level, the Colle delle Finestre is one of the most iconic mountain passes in Piedmont. Famous for its gravel switchbacks and for being a regular feature of the Giro d’Italia, it’s a must-visit for cyclists, bikers, hikers and mountain lovers.
The views are extraordinary: from the summit, you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Upper Val Chisone and the Orsiera-Rocciavrè Park. The pass also has great historical significance: along the climb, you’ll encounter 19th-century military fortifications built to protect the Alpine borders.
Colle delle Finestre is a sporting challenge, a natural experience and a journey through history: a perfect summer destination for those who love the authenticity of the Alps.
